It’s always better to opt for the safe route and use fake tan instead. Sure, you may get some on your bed, but when it comes to your health and lowering your risk of skin cancer, fake tanning is a no-brainer.

Wear Sunglasses to Prevent Skin Cancer

Your eyes and the delicate skin around them need to be protected too. UV rays can turn the lenses behind the pupils cloudy. This is known as a condition called cataracts. When you’re out and about enjoying the sun, make sure to pop on a pair of sunglasses. We don’t mean any old pair either. While you can buy sunglasses for as little as £1, they won’t offer the best protection for your eyes. Just make sure whatever sunglasses you purchase have a UV 400-blocking lens.
